Publishers of Books and e-Books for Freemasons

Temple-Arch Publishers began in 1998 as the hobby of Bro Jim Green. Jim is a retired printer and publisher, and to keep up his interests in publishing began Temple-Arch Publishers. His object is to make available as much masonic knowledge as he can as his way of propogating knowledge of the Craft. He first started to publish some out-of-date titles plus a few new titles in printed format. He recently began to publish some of these titles as e-Books available on CD-Roms or downloaded as pdf documents. This has proved to be of interest to many masons who have adopted computers as a way of furthering their knowledge of the craft.

He is a distributor for books published by the Ian Allen Publishing Group (Lewis Masonic), one of the largest Masonic publishers in the world. It is his intention to discount these books by at least 5% due to his low overheads. Orders can be placed directly by e-mail to

Jim is resident in Fort William in Scotland. His masonic career spans 50 years, 
he is a PM of both Scottish and English Craft lodges, as well as being a PZ in the Royal Arch (English and Scottish), a PM in the Allied degrees, a Past MWS in the Ancient and Accepted Rite, a PP in the Temple, 30' A&AR, a Past TIM Cryptic Council a member of the Royal Order of Scotland, the Red Cross of Constantine, and HRA Knight Templar Priests.
He is a Prov Grand Officer in Inverness-shire and has held offices as PDAGDC (Transvaal) Eng Craft, PDGStB (Tvl) RA, PDGOrg (Tvl) Scot Craft, PDADC (Tvl) in the Temple. He remains active in Freemasonry locally in Fort William and nationally as the Proxy SW of Lodge Douglas in South Africa, representing them at Grand Lodge in Edinburgh.
